- Sungju Lee, a defector activist from Citizens’ Alliance for North Korean Human Rights, had an extensive interview with NPR Morning Edition host Steve Inskeep that aired on Friday morning.
- Sungju Lee and Ji Seong-ho from Now, Action & Unity for Human Rights (NAUH) were both interviewed on the PBS NewsHour.
- The Washington Post’s Josh Rogin extensively referenced the activists and the problem with the McDonald’s theory for North Korea in his Friday column.
